TASK FORCE PILOT 1 (TFP1) WAS COMPLETED ON NOVEMBER 30, 2023.

Changers completed 100 pushups per day for 30 days, raising money for JUST TRYAN IT, a charity that provides critical financial support for families with children undergoing cancer treatment.

On a chilly weekend in Washington, DC, Task Force Change founder, Mike Monroe, had the opportunity to present JUST TRYAN IT with a check for $3294.93, thanks to the ten Changers that participated in TFC's first task force! 

The team at JUST TRYAN IT was thrilled to receive the donation and shared that these funds would go to support two families in need:

1. The first grant of $1600 was used to pay the mortgage of a family whose four-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia last year. The family was at risk of having their phone and utilities shut off and they are also two months behind on their mortgage. 

2. The remaining funds paid the rent of a family whose eight-year-old was diagnosed with Lymphoma. The patient’s mother left her job to be with their daughter in the hospital and dad is currently working part-time. This Emergency Assistance grant will give the family housing relief while Dad looks for full-time employment.
